Endeavour Assembly – February 2018

Spurred by the awards assembly before Christmas, many students from year 7 to year 11 worked exceedingly hard this spring and were rewarded once again with an assembly, certificate, and the traditional rewards breakfast.

As inspiration does not always have to come from Olympic athletes, war heroes or billionaire business entrepreneurs, our own Deputy Head Boy Charlie Webbe spoke to the students, staff and parents. He spoke with confidence and experience, and proving that even at the age of 17, it’s not just the rich and connected who can grasp at opportunity! Charlie spoke of his time in class, learning when to work hard and when to play hard, and his time in the Sea Cadets – an adventure outside school that has taught him many skills, and has now been appointed the Mayor of Lincoln’s Cadet, attending parades and city events.

Charlie then presented certificates to the best students in each year group.
